On February 20, 2025, from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM, the College of Medicine at the University of Sulaimani hosted a panel discussion titled “Using AI by Medical Students and Doctors.” The event was organized by Dr. Ranj’s Corner in collaboration with the Medical Students Association (MSA) and was attended by faculty members and medical students.

The panel featured distinguished speakers, including Dr. Sirwan Abdula, Dr. Taha Omer Rashid, and Dr. Hunar Ahmed, who shared their insights on the role of artificial intelligence in medical education and clinical practice. The discussion explored AI’s potential to enhance diagnostics, patient care, and research while addressing the ethical and practical challenges associated with its implementation in the medical field.

The session provided a platform for meaningful dialogue, encouraging students and professionals to engage with emerging technologies shaping the future of healthcare.
