We are pleased to report the successful completion of the “Digital Health for Real-World Care and Clinical Trials” seminar delivered by Professor Andreas Troja on Sunday, September 29th, 2024. The session, held in Hall 2 at the College of Medicine, UoS, focused on using digital tools and applications in patient care, particularly for chronic diseases, enabling continuous data recording and reporting for doctors. Additionally, Professor Troja highlighted the role of these technologies in enhancing clinical trials.

As part of its ongoing initiatives, the Medical Education branch held a symposium on November 30, 2024, focused on artificial intelligence (AI). The event, led by Professor Dr. Deiary Kader, an expert in knee arthroplasty and arthroscopy surgery, was titled “Enhancing Medical Practice: How AI and Robotic Surgery Make Doctors’ Lives Easier.” The symposium took place in the College of Medicine’s symposium hall at the University of Sulaimani and was attended by the college’s academic staff.
