The Peer-Assisted Learning (PAL) program actively contributed to the Clinical Skills Foundation Course (CSFC-I) by guiding students in developing essential clinical skills and boosting their confidence as future doctors. Thanks to our brilliant and active students, the creative idea of CSFC I leader, and the PAL committee, PAL has enhanced practical learning, bridged gaps in traditional teaching methods, and created a supportive environment for peer-led growth and success.

– Each lesson lasts one and a half hours.
– You will be guided by 10 qualified tutors who are trained by doctors.
– A booklet has been prepared for the course, which covers all 12 body systems in detail.
– At the end of the course, a certificate of successful completion will be received.

The “First Aid Course” for medical students, conducted through the PAL (Peer Assisted Learning) Program, has been successfully completed with Nine informative sessions. This program provided students with crucial life-saving skills and practical knowledge essential for handling emergencies. The course covered a wide range of topics, ensuring that participants are well-prepared for real-world medical situations.
The course was delivered by PAL students, who were selected through an application process and interview. Before the course, they received training from ER doctors.

A two-day comprehensive training session on First Aid was held in the skills lab at the College of Medicine, UoS. This training was provided to PAL students who will serve as tutors in the First Aid program. The session was conducted by Dr. Sdeeq’s emergency team; Dr. Rezheen Hassan and Dr. Sanarya Aras. The deanery, Medical Education Department, and PAL board members greatly appreciate their efforts and express their gratitude for the training they delivered to the students. The course included both theoretical and practical components, with a strong emphasis on hands-on practice, ensuring that every student had the opportunity to actively participate in First Aid activities.
With the start of the summer, PAL-CoM-UoS has prepared a series of beneficial projects and activities.
