The fourth international scientific conference of the Kurdistan Digestive and Liver Diseases Association took place at the Grand Millennium Hotel.

The event saw the esteemed presence of Dr. Haval Abubakr, Governor of Sulaimani, Professor Dr. Kosar Mohammed, President of Sulaimani University, and Dr. Sabah, Director General of Health of Sulaimani, alongside numerous government and party officials. Additionally, it drew the participation of hundreds of foreign and local doctors and professors from various countries including Qatar, Egypt, UAE, Iran, Turkey, Lebanon, and Iraq.

This significant conference was a collaborative effort between the College of Medicine of Sulaimani University, Duhok University, Erbil Medical University, and the Kurdistan High Council for Medical Specialties.

Highlighting the conference’s activities was the live surgery demonstrations conducted at a high-quality hospital, broadcasted in real-time at the conference hall throughout the event’s duration.
